Today I am sharing a Digi called soccer kid by Morgan Fitzsimons.
I am not doing a card.. that is so standard with digis. I really love using them on layouts especially when they theme perfectly into a page.
Following the theme boys this digi is amazing on my GS's soccer page.
I copic coloured with all the gray and black tones because his team wore black and white. It also pops off the kraft paper background.
The background also is stamped and paint daubed for the rustic look.
Cute flags were made, twine added, fun metal accent, brads, corrugated accent along with a fun sticker accent and title. Chevrons are such a big thing right now so I cut and doodled on them for an accent. I love using the white Signo pen for doodling and journaling.
Sure hope you enjoyed the blog hop and the fabulous digis we had to share with you. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

I am also using this page for Ann's hexagon challenge at My Sketch World... this is my new hexagon stamp I just purchased from Scrapping Turtle. It adds great depth and texture to my page.
I am also sharing this with Scrap Scene WIP MONDAY.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday
Just Imagine Crafts is the supplier of Kreaxions Punches..
and the fabulous Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
I use these items almost daily in one way or another.
This great page was inspired by a few things. Memorable Seasons Challenge with Sally is
And I had fun doing the double coloured circle using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
The outer ring in a 2nd colour pops perfectly.
The fun sketch used is from My Scraps and More dated April 20th.
All put together it is perfect .. my colours are red, blue and yellow with lots of layers.
Here is the up close view of the 3 punched areas on page. Lately I love
matting them for pop and I also outlined some
of the punches with black Staedtler pen to accent them even more.

Scrapbook Stamp Society .. amazing digis
Scrapbook Stamp Society has amazing digitals regularly.
This week
I worked with this cute digi "Emily Rainy Day" by Heather Valentin....
Lil Ragamuffins Collection.
I copic coloured the digi and used Spellbinder Nestibilities to frame it.
I then used mega layered of colour to pop it.
A fun Kreaxions Punch #304 border, a ribbon accent
behind sentiment and the fun brads.

Let's Get Sketchy
Today is Sketch day at Let's Get Sketchy. They have amazing
sketches every Monday for you to share your finished creations
with us in a link and a weekly fav and top 3.. would love to see you play along.
This fun sketch is from Tabitha
I used digital on this on today. I also expanded the
single photo into a collage of four fabulous
photos from our trip to Quebec City where we
spent time with friends from Ken's place of employment.
Cookin Up Creations Scraplift and My Sketch World Challenge
Hi .. Well this is the 2 kiddles that stayed with us for a week while parents
vacationed. It was fun having young ones in the house with squeals of laughter.
Making daily lunches, driving back and forth from school, after school sports and
regular activities kept us very busy. Weekend sleepover with cousin and friends
topped the week off and today all is quiet again.
This page is from when they were however younger too.. now they are older than this and doing
pages when they were younger brings back fond memories.
This is a scraplift from Cookin Up Creations from Kimberly.
It was amazing fun to use and lift.. thanks.
I then added the elements of a My Sketch World Challenge from Joan to use texture
on the page. I use layered felt flowers and also added depth with
the matted punching in the banner (using Kreaxions Punch #303) and border.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday
Good Morning.. I have been enjoying the Grandkids this week because parents are
off on a vacation. Making lunches, driving to school, planning suppers and after school sports is the core of my time. Scrappy time will have to wait until next week.
Welcome to Just Imagine Crafts and the Kreaxions Punches and Circle Cutter.
I have a layout using banners and punches to share today.
I have done these before but today I draw attention to the fact that banners and borders can
be any size. They can drape across the whole page, extent off to one side
or even look like a base to a central photo. ....
and there can be more than one on a page.
On this page I used Kreaxions Punch # 303 and also the fall away piece.
The trick is to punch a full strip, splice between each punch almost through
so you can bend and arch it to fit your page.
On this page I used soft colouring because of the old 1924 photo (Nana is the baby in this one) and it is very special to us.
Hope you have a great day and maybe even a scrappy one...........

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday
Sorry about the photo.. had to take this at night.. will hopefully replace it
tomorrow with some sunshine.. if it shows it's face.
So welcome to Thursday. With Easter past and the on look of
summer I was inspired to make a fun summer card.. full of fun bright
colours, a popping frame for a too cute pair of flip flops,
a touch of doodling, and some
fun Robin's Nest dew drops to represent water... and a cute sentiment ....
the card came together inside a circular ring.... using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
I used Kreaxions Punch #913 with inserts C on the corners...
and full punch on the inside circle... all of this
matted with pink to match the sandals.
Sure hope you have a great day .. with a touch of scrappyness too... Bev DT

if I have never tried it .. I go with it and hope I can share something

Today is RUBON as a RESIST.
The above photo has 2 rubons on a piece of cardstock. The
fabulous bird and the sentiment.
Now I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.

I matted this circle and this is an accent and title to my layout page.
I used the April My Sketch World sketch from Lucy to
make my page. I love the finished page .. and especially
love the look of the rubon resist accent as part of the page.
It was perfect touch and was a great part of using the circular part of the sketch.

Here is my finished card using the same process.
I really like the look of this. What and easy and amazing
technique to use with so many of those rubons we all have.
I used cardstock pieces and applied the finished accent to my projects.
It also would work directly on the background of a page or card but you
would have to have an idea exactly where to place it first.
My method just allowed a bit more easy of placement.
Sure hope you liked this today .. be sure to stop by My Sketch World
and share your project with us using this method.

Just Imagine Crafts and Momenta
Hi and good morning.. moving just a bit slow this morning.. and today is GS and DH birthday today. Today I am posting at Just Imagine Crafts where I boast about Kreaxions Circle Cutter and their amazing Punches.
Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA #0658, PK #2447
Stickers: Momenta PK #2447
Beads: Craft
Punch: Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions #913
Hope you have and great day and see you again soon.. Bev DT
I have been making a few more cards again... but I have never made a shaker card and thought it would be fun. I used the plastic section of a purchased embellishments and cut it to size to tape and glue down.. found some beads and a frame that fit around it to cover the tape and glue it took to hold down the plastic piece. I placed it on the background and it was too dull and rectangular shaped so I found accent paper and punched the edges with Kreaxions #913 and matted it so the punch popped through. It was the outer fussy edge however that made the difference for eye appeal.
This is the inside of the card already for the sentiment or verse..
The close up shows the Punched edge and matting that popped the shaker off the page.
I also take advantage of being on the Momenta D-Lite Team and used Momenta product today.Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA #0658, PK #2447
Stickers: Momenta PK #2447
Beads: Craft
Punch: Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions #913
Hope you have and great day and see you again soon.. Bev DT

Happy Birthday using Momenta
So tomorrow marks the day my only grandson has his birthday
which he also shares with his grandpa. They tease about
who should have a party and who should be recognized for the day.
GS says it's mine now
and DH says but I've had it longer.
They really are too funny about it... we all get a chuckle out of it.
Tonight we are doing supper out to celebrate so this is the card I made for him.
(will do DH's later or tomorrow)
He is a hockey player and his # is 11 and he is 11 tomorrow.. so this
skate photo was draw by GS's dad (my son) back in 1996 and I use
it for guys hockey cards and layouts. I thought this would be a great keepsake for GS.
Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA 2252, PA 2253
CS: American Crafters
Base card/envelope: ANW Crestwood Inc.
Stickers: Momenta ST 4490

Let's Get Sketchy
This fun birthday layout celebrates 7 years. Time goes by so quickly. This page uses super
fun bright papers and a great cluster, used inking and the bling is perfect. I really like the large shaped background with the holes... top it with some colourful polka dots and cute photos.
The title has a coat of glossy accents and I was able to use my sewing machine
after months of not having one in Florida.. really love stitching even if
it's with a match and blend colour.
This fun sketch is just one of our Monday sketches from
Let's Get Sketchy. If you'd like to play along and link
your project to share with us .. see the blog.
