I had a used brown paper bag. My friends Birthday was coming up and it
was perfect for her because she is like me and loves crafts. She also
would appreciate the fact that it was homemade and realize the
time that went into it and that it was personalized.
I don't use my cricut often enough so I thought it would be fun
to get it out and use up some of those smaller pieces of scrap.
I gathered up some ribbon pieces, smaller piece of border flowers
that were left over and a piece of chipboard.
The only bigger piece of cardstock needed was for the
Happy Birthday cut out Sentiment.
I started with a Tattered Angel's Glimmer Misting of
many colours. After cutting all the cricut pieces from the Celebrations Cartridge and gluing
them in place I used the ribbons to cascade the balloons and add the chipboard tag.
I then added the other sentiment "celebrate" and the floral border accent.

Cute ballons and beautiful bag bev!you give me an idea to add sentiments on the paper bag..normally i just add patterned paper n tag.
One of these days I really need to dig out my unused gift bags and turn them all into birthday gift bags. Great idea, Bev!

Great idea Bev. I always think with off the page projects that it's best to make something that you're going to use soon. More incentive to finish it!
