The Rubber Buggy celebrates a Graduation

My post today shares my only Grand Son's Graduation. I thought the car papers was a perfect touch for a guy masculine page even for graduation. So today at The Rubber Buggy I am using Maja Design Summer Crush.

I matted the main sheet to add more layers and colours . The title is cricut cut... and I mated the photo twice.. one thin and one wide mat... used ink on the edges.

I  hand cut the pennants and inked the edges to make them pop and the colours are all so light and soft.

In this section I cut SSS SVG filmstrip and add very small photos .. some great ones of our school logo and one with  Jake and his parents. Also add the great chippie from the Blue Fern Studios Collection which is copic coloured.

What a cutie all coloured with copics to match the photo and the great Paper House Emerald Color Ways  Collection. 

I added a fun clustered corner of inked edge pennants and added some stitching and buttons. This page is inspired by Ruby at the Turtle Soup from a scraplift challenge.

I used this Bev Code Sketch from the Turtle Soup forum to create my page.

In the close ups you get to see the product accent better. In this section I clustered some flowers, a stem and a copic coloured chippie from 7 Dot Studio.

This section give a better view of the layered papers with inked edges, the amazing lace backing to the copic coloured Blue Fern Studio chippie. I also added a small tied twine bow to the chippie.

This section shows the fun matted cricut cut file with an pen traced outer edge to help it pop off the page.

SVG Saturday

SVG Saturday is always fun. It allows us to play with new and fabulous cut files from Scrapbook Stamp Society with Sherri Baldy. I used the  Snowflake border and the Christmas Trees.

This close up gives you a view of the snowflakes border with added stickles for sparkle.

This close up show cases the fabulous trees.. one double cut with fussy front and one single background only. Notice the stickles added again for more sparkle.
