Fun Post it Note Gifts for all Occasions

This DT project for The Rubber Buggy showcases some fun Post It Notes Gifts. They can be used for any fun occasion and are so easy to make. Go go to your local dollar store and buy some post it notes and pens with a side clip. These were decorated for love and Valentines Day but could be for Easter, an Anniversary, Birthdays and even at Christmas. Just change up the  themes you decorate with. 

So grab your paper scraps, some twine and ribbon, and sticker accents.

Supply List:

Papers: from your stash that mix and match

Glue: Beacon 3-in-1 Glue,  double sided tape

Accents: stickers etc from your stash

Machine/ tools:  EK success cutter bee scissors, Fiskar Paper Trummer, 
Other: Cardstock, twine, ribbon

I am using a thicker piece of cardboard (actually off my Shutterfly envolope) as a more solid base.

I measured the width of the post it notes and est the length for front back and width of the edge. 

Using 2 face tape very close to edges and glue through the centre I add print paper to the base cardboard.

I glued the back of post it notes and the spine to the base after I tied twine to the pen and left a long enough piece to feed through the spine section of the base.... attaching it means you never have to look for a pen when you want to write a note.

With everything glued together now just paper and trim the back with print paper and paper and accent the front to what ever theme you want. It's super easy and they make a fun little token gift. 

This one is actuall a small box with loose post it size notes in it... so I just added a themed tag with twine and added a tied ribbon to hold it closed.

Layouts with Stamped Images from One Crazy Stamper

Welcome OCS Fans;

Hi it's Bev here today and I am sharing my 2nd  DT project for One Crazy Stampers using High Hopes Stamps. Again it is a scrapbook layout page with a stamped and coloured image which is being uesd as an accents that co-ordinates the themes of the project. This page has photos from our time in Florida whan we visited the McKee Gardens where all the natural vegetation is amazing and depending on the time of year has many blooming and amazing plants. 

To start my project I stamped the image ....Country Garden and picked colours that would compliment the papers I planned on using. 

Copic are my favourite medium to colour with.... but lots of pencil sets out there now too. I love the shading options that come with copic markers.

Next I layouted out the proprosed background and postioning of the fabulous stamped and coloured image... and glued everything down ready for the photos.  I am using a Let's Get Sketchy challenge and here is the sketch used. 

Next was the photos and some fun accents from the paper collection and the flowers.

Cards at Dies R Us

Hi .. How are you today. This DT project for Dies R Us showcases some cards that are easy and simple to made using some die cuts along with with using layers of coordintating papers. When crafting I use my standard  Scraperfect Best Glue Ever with the non clog writing tip and if I am inking edges it's with Tim Holtz distress ink Vintage Photo.

Photo Play Party Girl - The Rubber Buggy

This DT project for The Rubber Buggy showcases the Photo Play Party Girl... and be sure to watch the product reveal video too please.  I start by pulling my old stand by must have to start.....  Beacon 3- in -1 Glue, 3D foam,  my paper trimmer and small scissors.  I am sharing a layout of my eldest Grand Daughter's 23 December birthday.

Product Reveal Video:

For this page I am using one of my very own sketches. So to start I grabbed lots of fun colours to mix and match from the collection and formed the background following the sketch below. I added some splatter to the background using colour on a plastic bag. I outlined the 2 bigger pieces with black ink.

In the close ups you can now view some to the details.... like all the layers, the clustered flowers and matted sticker accents from the collection.

The chipboards were iridescent coloured for shimmer and more clustered flowers.

Lots of stickers from the collection in this clustered section.... some flat and some 3D foam popped.

The photos are still front and centre amoungst all the amazing fun prints and colours.

Whisker Graphics card with a Twine accent

OMG I am having great fun using Whisker Graphics.twine on my card.  Using single threads and following patterns along with the addition of a bead... it makes and amazing card accent. Whisker Graphics has an amazing collection of twine colours to choose from.

Supply List:

Whisker Graphics: Divine Twine
Other: Print paper, cardstock, card base, die cuts, beads

To make this card I awl punched out the pattern. Use some that available online or make your own.

Following from one side to the other going up and down through the paper pattern create your twine accent.

Next I added beads to finish the pattern off. 

This accent piece was squared off, matted for coloured layers and popped up using foam dots for depth and demension.

I put it onto the floral paper base, added the die cut sentiment and corner accents. It makes and awesome card design.

Hockey Stamped image is perfect on this Layout page.

Hi it's Bev here today. I am back again as it's Saturday and I get to share a layout page with a stamped image accent for my post at One Crazy Stampers using High Hopes Stamps. This page is showcasing a great hockey image coloured to suit the team colours in the photos. This hockey page is a fundraising tournament that my son and his friends play in every year.

To start my project I stamped the hockey image and coloured it with the photo and paper colours in mind. The background part of this was very easy because the 2 photos filled the bottom section. I used striped black, grey white paper and the upper section is grey marbled print to give the look of ice. It came together fabulously.

The highlights are added using a signo white gel pen. For this specific image I added a circular chipboard accent that fit perfectly around the image.  It is showcased by adding a washi tape border and a hockey net accent with the Hockey title.... so easy but I love it.

Sure hope that I am inspiring you to think about getting out these stamps you own and working them into your layout pages too.
