Creative Crop for NSD

Creative CropIn Celebration of National Scrapbook Day Big Picture Classes and Creating Keepsakes Magazine  teamed up to bring you their 2nd annual, fun-filled Creative Crop for National Scrapbook Day! The online event will kicked-off Saturday, May 5th at 9am PST. It was  12 jam-packed hours offering creative challenges every hour, live chats with industry professionals, amazing giveaways, and constant inspiration and interaction! OMG there were 2572 ENTRIES TO THIS AMAZING CREATIVE CROP. Here are some of my pages to share with you today after scrapping for 2 days. I had an amazing time.   #1 Photo Frame with Stacy Julian Fabulous fun with Kreaxions Punch #917 for the frame and the small flowers Kreaxions Punch #603 Homemade banner, medallion flower, stamping, vellum, twine, brads and stickles. #2 Then and Now with Ali Edwards  Kit from LLS but added embroidered flourish and added beads. also MSW Darcy Challenge to add stitching. Unique Crafters monthly challenge is to use ribbon or fibre so I used twine and  I am sharing this one with them also. #3 Reflections using photos or mirror accents with Kim Watson. The main thing is the photo "like father like son". Some fun stamping, brads, photo frame and the title is the negative pieces. #4 Twine with Megan Hoeppner I used Momenta Product on this page. PA 1783, PA 2333 with lots of Momenta stickers ST 0531, 1682, 1676, 2540, 2485,  Momenta Stencil SS 1007 Punch: Martha Stewart Pen: Staedtler Ripped Wave: Fiskars Ruler Other: vellum, doodling, Stitching and the Twine is the string off the popped balloon. #5 iphone photos with Nicole Harper These are the fun photos sent to us from Canada to Florida via phone of the hairdo for playoff hockey of our grandson. This is the first hybrid page I have ever done... the pieces of the digital kit are from My Memories Penalty Box. #6 sketch with Lisa Day The main page is Momenta Product PA 1486 I stamped with Martha Stewart and added circles using Kreaxions Circle Cutter. Thickers title is for Stacey at MSW. Ink: memento, colorbox Letters: thickers Cutter: cricut Other: brads, stitching #7 use 3 colours touching on the colour wheel with Deena Boese Cute baseball page for Grand Daughter using blue, green and touch of yellow. I started with pieces of the left over baseball kit from ColorBox and added from my stash. #8 use a mini Flag with Cindy Tobey Kit: ColorBok Punch: Kreaxions #913, Martha Steward Other: Twine, doodling #9 use Pocket with Nic Howard This fun page is our home and inside the pocket I listed the date we bought the house, the date of the photos and make reference to the trees and their growth. Also mention is made of the oak tree which was bought and planted in my dad's memory. I used some real photos and also added scanned copies of newspaper clipping to save this memory. This page is Digital using My Memories Digital Kit Radiant in Red #12 Kraft background plus 1 more with May Flaum I Cricut cute the title from kraft and then stamped on it. The Keep Calm image is a challenge with Kristin at MSW. Other: brads, doodling, stitching. AND today I am sharing with Scrap Scene WIP. This was an amazing and fun weekend of scrapping to celebrate NSD. If I forgot any one or anything I apologize.. it's just a little overwhelming posting so much all at once.... Cookin' Up Creations, Momenta Product, Unique Crafters Challenge

Cookin' Up Creations is having fun this month with the game of "CLUE".

Welcome to Mr. Boddy's House .. his directions for today challenge are easy.
His guests are many....
Col. Mustard (mustard/yellow), Prof. Plum (purple), Mr. Green (green), Mrs. White (white), Miss Scarlett (Red), Mrs. Peacock (blue).. BUT
you must use at least 4 colours of the above ..your choice.
Enter the rooms through 1 of the 4 doors to gather clues ( use journal strips)
It is suggested that the weapon could have been a rope so use rope or twine on your page.
It is still unknown which room but my guess is the library. (use the sketch)
So have fun with the clues above and create your page.

Here is mine below....
I chose white, green, purple and mustard and used twine and added journal strips.
It was fun to use matted photos, circles, frames and tags.
I even popped up a few of the sticker accents.
Also Momenta has an amazing Halloween package that contained
just the perfect colour combo I was looking for so that is what I started with.
