Super Excited - this is my 1st Whisker Graphics Project

OMG it's my 1st DT post for Whisker Graphics. I am so excited to share with you some of the amazing products that I will be creating with. I started with a card using lots of fabulous product. You can never have enough birthday cards in your stash.

Supply List:

Whisker Graphics: Middy Biddy Bags, Little Petite Stickers, Divine Twine Petites, Sweet Sticky Labels
Other: cardstock, dies, brads

To start this project I pulled lots of products that I thought I could mix and match. For this one I went with black, gray and white. I die cut some extra pieces and will decide which ones to use as I go.

For starters I thought using the stickers to make a border accent piece would be great.

I took the middy bitty bag in grey and sized it to fit the front of the card. I took the sticker boarder and decided that it needed matting with black to pop off the card.

Also take the label and glue on the sentiment "Happy Birthday" to fit through the centre.

I decided I would wrap the card in Divine Twine and like to make my bows separate to make them double twine and glue them on separate for better size and volume. So I start with double twine.

Starting at the centre I start tying a bow.

I make a fairly small bow and pull it very tight so it is firmly tied.

Now holding the centre knot section pull the end to make the loop of the bow a bit smaller .. do the same for both sides... now pull both to make sure they are still very tight.

Cut off the ends to desired length.

Wrap twine around the whole card a few times, and tie a knot and cut the ends about the same length as the tied bow sample.

With the background mitty biddy bag, the left side border stickers. the sentiment label, the twine wrapped I then added some brads and the small die cut matted accent. Everything is put on a black background mat and then glued to my card base.
