Today I am sharing a waterfront page project for Creative Embellishments and showcasing these great tag accents along with many more.
When we are in Florida I have a great time taking photos of the area, the water, the beaches and many places we visit and spend time at. For this page we go and walk the getty to see birds, fish, beach and sail surfers. They even have benches along the walk to sit and enjoy the sun.
Supply List:
Stencil: Creative Embellishments Paint
Paper: Blue Fern Studio Products: Paper Happy Accident collection
Embossing Powder: Blue Fern Studios Imagine Ink
Sequins: 28 Lilac Lane Sunflower Sky
Markers: copic
Pen: signo white gel
Ink: Tim Holtz ranger
Glue: Beacon 3-in-1 glue, ScraPerfect Best Ever Glue
Other: Liquitex Modeling Paste, ribbon, ScraPerfect Best Cleaner Ever. Heat Gun
For this page I started the background with stenciling the paint stencil using modeling paste and let it dry.
I then added embossing powder and to add some random colour.
For the chipboard I used my copic markers
I first used a very dark navy for the wave, added a few darker blue line in the wave and then added more dimension using a signo white gel pen. It is perfect.
The tags I left plain this time and added cut down photos of the great beach front and getty. I tied them off with a ribbon.
In this close up you can see the unfinished title letters and the amazing fun shiny sequins, buttons mixed with beads. The perfect sparkle for being around the water when the sun shines on it.
The photos were sized to fit the best they could without losing the photo details.
The rustic, textured stenciling is a great mix for this page. The background was done with white base and smaller central piece of print paper .
