OMG isn't this too cute? We at Creative Embellishments are challenging you to play along with us this month. Below is the amazing mood board and the twist is to use paint when creating. I had such fun with this one. This is my youngest Grand Daughter who is now 13. She was obsessed with her "blankie" and still is! LOL. It was so tattered it was an embarrassment to have her carry it around. She will have memories forever with this page.
This page is created using papers from Robin's Nest and lots of Creative Embellishments Chipboards and accents... then throw in some inked stenciling and some splattered paint and it's done.
Supply List:
Creative Embellishment Products:
Accents: Flair Buttons, Accents February Kit (all sold) metal key
Stencil: Scribble Heart
Stamp: Love Heart
Other: lace, ribbon, ink, paint
Starting with this 2 hearts border I painted it... let stand to dry.
This is one of the newest chipboards and one of my favourites. It comes with amazing depth, texture and looks fabulous in natural colour.... but I added some colour to only the hearts and left the rest plain.
In some of the close ups you can view more of the details and accents. This view showcases some of the background paint splatter and also some heart stenciling, the fab chipboard and a flair button. You can also see the fun patterned papers creating layers behind the cute photos.
I had the February Kit from Creative Embellishments which is now sold out... I still had some accent pieces left to use. Above is the Love tag chipboard which is matted with glitter cardstock from Robin's Nest. The metal key tied off with a ribbon bow. Beside it is the Love Heart stamp and some lace accent.
Below is a few more detail close ups for you viewing.
Thanks for visiting.... hope to see you again soon.
