Hi.. I have been trying digital scrapping.. and as a new venture I thought I'd join in on the Sunday Speed Scrapping with My Memories.. hosted by Jessie. OMG .. it was fun. A little nerve wracking, exciting and fun all rolled into one. The basics were easy to add.. but when I had to add patterned kit paper to circular shapes I needed a lesson which everyone was so fabulous to help with. I was also glad to see and hear someone else needed help too. It was an inspiring experience .. seeing what everyone did with the recipe and also seeing the many different interpretations of the same thing.
Here is my 1st ever revised and finished speed scrap. After learning the new process of adding patterned paper I would change up my project just a bit... but overall was pleased with it.
Week 2 Speed Scrapping Recipe truly amazed me because I totally forgot to step out of my box and do something special with the 2 patterned papers with a dividing element. I stuck to the half page thing.. but now after seeing what everyone else did I will hopefully do it different and better next time.Played with Word Art on this one. Also learned how many ways you can use rectangular shapes on your page. If you like these projects be sure to visit and see what the pros do with digital scrapping. It amazing me with every step what you can do ... and am anxious to learn even more.

Excellent a layouts Bev. That's one of my favourite things about challenges, everyone is inspired by different things and you get totally different looks.
Great pics. of St Jacob's btw.
These digital layouts are amazing! It's so good to try new things and challenge ourselves. We sometimes surprise ourselves with things we think we cannot do and find out we can do them! Hugs XO
