April 15th mid month Feeling Sketchy challenge

 At Feeling Sketchy we love sharing card sketches with you. We share our reveal cards to hopefully inspire you to play along with us.

My card below was created using the sketch. For this card I used a full central frame section from the papers. I then folded it into 4, cut apart and spaced them on a background to for the 4 boxes. I fussy cut some flowers from the papers and placed them on top of background flowres so I could 3D it by using foam dots to pop it up. It adds great dimension.  I have been using my Heartfelt Creations collections. On this one I also used one of the die sentiments and then added stickles for sparkle and some pearls in the corners to follow the sketch.

Lawn Fawn Products used to create some great Projects

Creative Embellishments & Petaloo cross promo Blog Hop

WELCOME TO THE PETALOO AND CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS BLOG HOP

Today... we are celebrating with a cross promo Petaloo and Creative Embellishments. What a perfect mix of products to make creating fun and easy.... and so well coordinated. For this page I used fun bright papers to match the great untreated chipboards and fabulous purple flowers and butterflies. The photos are of my eldest Grand Daughter and her cat Miles. This is a precious memory page for her.

Chipboards: Cat Set, Circle Doodle Frames, Amazing, Hearts

Accents: Petaloo Dahlas purple, Petites purple, Mini butter Flies purple

Other: Lawn Fawn die, stamp and Perfectly Plaid paper pack, paint, sew easy ink roller, ribbon, ink, pen, cardstock, ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever, Best Cleaner Ever.

I started by laying out the proposed layers, photos to give me an idea of where to apply the painted background.

Removing everything I then used a plastic bag and added the many paint colours to match the print on the paper.

Using Lawn Fawn stamps and dies I got some accents ready to use and set them aside.

I started by layering the central section and gluing it down using ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever. 

I glued down the clustered section on the top left corner and the lower accents running across the bottom border. I then used the Sew Easy ink roller for the ink star borders around the edges.

I added the circle doodled frame around the photo of Miles.

This section shows another cat chipboard and some of the lower border accents.

Here are some more close up detail photos of the accents that were added to this page.

Super cute stamp and dies cats look so cute. Notice I stamped onto the print papers to make these accents.

Here we see the fabulous washi tape shapes chipboard, some heart chipboard, and the Petaloo butterfly and part of the floral cluster with leaves.

Amazing is a great chipboard title with added heart and accent butterflies.

This is the central section of the over all page with all the amazing accents and great photos.

These photos are of my family and the grand kids..... always one of my favourite things to scrap is my family.The addition of lots of chipboard, use of a stamp and a flair button from Creative Embellishments completes my page.

To start this page I ink stamped and textured the corners.

Next I matted the photos and pulled, cut and layered my proposed paper placement.

After inking and colouring all the chipboards I placed them onto the page.

Some paper accents from the collection were added for depth and colour. Coloured chipboards were added and flowers too.

Here we view s bit of the title, matted heart with bead centre and butterfly accent.

This amazing floral chipboard was coloured in multi tones, added stickles for sparkle and then some clusters of flowers were added.

More flowers clustered, a flair button and a great paper collection tag accent this corner.
