Robin's Nest - give thanks

Hi.. today we are celebrating fall using the fabulous Robin's Nest Collections for Halloween and Fall. Both mix well together. My photos are from Canadian Thanksgiving which we celebrate in October. Love the photos with the grandkids.

Accents: Halloween rubon  Autumn Leaves, Fall Follage tear drops, Carrot Crush Ribbon

Other: stitching, punch, washi tape

In the close ups you can view the layers, details and accents. This page started with a tilt of layers so the slightest pop of orange is in the background with the tilted piece of black coming forward to the print white and gold piece. In the upper corner on the white is the rubon fall accent. and the title Give Thanks is also rubon. The photo is matted for more pop of colour. Corners have washi tape and ribbon accent.  Close up of the centre is in the next photo.

Super fun coloured leaves and a punched border base the photo and also see the great tear drop dew drops clustered into the rubon and leaves.

This close up gives even a better view with details in the upper left side of the page.

Ribbon is bold and bright to add colour pop to the page  and what a great turkey image on the paper.

The Rubber Buggy - Love This

I have been doing family pages at The Rubber Buggy and I love the paper possibilities with Blue Fern Studios. This Collection is Sanctuary and I cheated it by cutting the centre out of the paper and then using it as an upper layer to get the most out of the sheet. Lots of fun ripping with inked edges on the layers added depth and texture.

More chipboard accents in this photo shot. Also in this section you can see the stenciled molding paste that give added texture to the page. 

Chipboard accents and titles are awesome to work with. You can colour them any colour you want to match your papers and photos. Also if you look closely the bird cage and the lower left section is fussy cut to allow the other layer to be slipped behind it.

OMG look at this tree sticker with the birds.. adds the eerie feeling of Halloween.

I am loving the themed paper. Here is a nautical background page which is perfect for some Marina photos from Florida. To start the page off I added some stenciling using molding paste.
